Riserva di Fizzano Relais is an ancient medieval village owned by Rocca delle Macie winery, which stands on the top of a hill in the heart of the Chianti Classico area surrounded by vineyards and olive groves.
The village, dating from the 11th century, is today the result of a meticulous renovation, curated by the architects Fabio Zingarelli and Lucia Peretti, which has enhanced the pre-existing architectural structure by providing it with all the comforts to ensure guests the best of services and privacy in an atmosphere of complete relaxation.
Located near the “Via Francigena” halfway between Siena and Florence, near San Gimignano and Volterra, the Relais is made up of six buildings, which include 19 apartments, gardens, green spaces, a chapel, two swimming pools, a bar , a restaurant and a small shop where you can buy the wines, oil and honey produced by Rocca delle Macie.
The careful renovation of the buildings of the Fizzano Reserve has kept the pre-existing structure unaltered, trying to recover details of the past, which give each apartment its own peculiarity: ancient mangers, terracotta floors, ceilings with wooden beams, large firebeds, etc. .
To make our stay more unique, a large swimming pool is available, open spaces surrounded by nature, tours and tastings in our cellar, excursions, bike tours and much more. Far from any city frenzy, our guests will be looked after with care by attentive staff available to satisfy every need

Abbiamo adorato il nostro soggiorno qui. Il personale della reception era estremamente gentile e comunicativo e le sistemazioni erano tipicamente toscane. Ritorneremo sicuramente.
Il borgo è stupendo, così come il panorama che offre sulle colline. Anche l’appartamento è molto bello e funzionale, letto comodo, bellissima vista dalle finestre, bagno spazioso, cucina attrezzata. Apprezzatissima anche la gentilezza e disponibilità del personale della reception a rispondere ad ogni esigenza e curiosità.
Ambiente accogliente in un contesto mozzafiato. Molto organizzati. Ottima posizione per visitare Chianti
classico.
